ELM’s major and longest-standing technology partner is IBM. In the past 15-year partnership with IBM, ELM has received major outstanding performance awards from IBM including “Business Partners Leadership Award (1992-1999)”, “Top Contributor Award – Storage (2001-2003, 2005-2006)”, “Top Contributor Award – pSeries (2002, 2006)”. ELM has also consecutively won the UNIX bulk and Server Bulk contracts from HKSAR Government to provide UNIX systems and servers from 1999 to 2006. Since 2002, ELM has become the Valued Added Distributor of IBM software.
In 2004, ELM established the first software IBM Business Partner Innovation Center (BPIC) in Hong Kong with great support from IBM. The Center provides comprehensive support services for software developers and partners to build innovative solutions. Riding on the success of the software BPIC, ELM has made further investment to launch the first hardware BPIC in Greater China in 2006. As the first hardware and software BPIC in Asia Pacific region, the center offers a world-class environment for ELM to deliver one stop shop IT services for customers.
ELM achieved international standard ISO 9001:2000 accreditation in 2006, demonstrating its commitment to provide best-of-breed IT services to clients. It was also awarded Level 3 of “Computer Information System Integration (SI) Qualification Certification” in 2006, which facilitates ELM to gain access to the Mainland market.
